Well I decided that it was time someone posted a thread listing all of the GOOD upcomming games, and their release dates. These are the ones I am most looking forward to:


Halo 2 - XBOX: November 9th (solid)
Half-Life 2/Counter Strike 2 - XBOX - PC: November 15th (sketchy)
Splinter Cell 3: TBA
Fable - XBOX: July
Driv3r - PS2 - XBOX - PC: Summer
GTA: SA - PS2: October
Mech Assault 2 - XBOX: somewhere in Q4 2004 or Q1 2005
Brute Force 2 (Not confirmed)
Spiderman 2 - PS2 - XBOX - PC: June 29 (solid)
Star Wars: Battlefront - XBOX: TBA
Super Smash Bro.s 3 (Not confirmed)

That's all I can think of right now

Also, the current names of the next gen. consoles are:

Microsoft (rather) XBOX Next or Xenon
Sony PS3 (solid)
Nintendo N5

Driv3r for PC isn't coming out till like October, PC always get screwed

driver 3 for xbox in june... from what i heard

and counter-strike 2 !  and halo 2   2 must buys!

and didn't a splinter cell JUST come out... no wonder 3 is being made... pandora tomorrow SUCKED (on-line anyways)

The Legend of Zelda :: GameCube

The title isn't known yet but it will be great. Will take the realistic graphics like using in Ocarina of time but much better and smoother. Epona will be present in this game and you will be back in good old hyrule. Now you will be able to fight on epona with your sword and other enimies will ride on horses also. I really hope it is a challenging game because Wind Waker was too easy.

Metroid Prime 2 :: Echoes

Anyone who is subscribed to GameInformer will have seen the latest issue was pretty much based on it. Will keep the same graphics as the original Metroid Prime (Which were very good by the way) but with a new story line. New things will include the screw attack from Super Metroid and Seeker Misiles , It is also said that the morph ball will play a bigger role in the game.

Paper Mario 2

The two above games I WILL have but they are both going to be very hard and tricky games. Paper Mario is a fun not so challenging , Bright game. Sometimes I just want to take a break from all the hard stuff and play just a fun silly game. They say this game will take advantage of the paper part more. Like being able to slip threw paper thing cracks and fold yourself into a paper airplane and other origami figures.

The Legend of Zelda :: DS

Story line on this game hasn't been unveiled but I will be looking foward to any zelda game none the less.

The Legend of Zelda :: The Minish Cap

Another Gamebody game made by Capcom. Usually the Capcom games are really weird but hopefully this one will be better. It is suppost to take on the cell shaded look , In this game Link aquires a special hat which allows him to shrink to really small sizes.

ive got a snes apart from that nitendos last efforts with the gamecube saddened me. i didnt buy an N64 altho it was probly a decent machine from what ive played on it, now i have a PS, PS2 and Xbox

I have a Cube. It a decent system that can outperform all the others in PURE POWER, but the way that Nintendo's got it locked down it's no wonder it went down.

XBOX is the fastest.  It isn't the fact that Nintendo have it "locked down" it's the fact that they make the console for 3-11 year olds.  Nowadays the market to make the most money is the 16-30 age bracket.  Sony & M$ have noticed that, Nintendo are still stuck in the 90's though.

Still, dissapointed withe you missing Operation Flaspoint 2 from that list

Yes, im getting Half Life 2 over the Steam network for freewhen it comes out. Its going to be so cool that i dont even have to go out and get it or order it. Steam downloads it automatically when i start up my PC

Yes, but you won't see a Halo, Halo 2, Half-Life 2, Grand Theft Auto 3, 4, and 5, etc. for GameCube

I haven't tried Halo or Half-Life so I will give you those two. But Grand Theft Auto arent really games. You can't call yourself a gamer if thats all you play. More like a criminal

Correct me if I am wrong, but GTA is a game.  Like it or not it is still a game.

I do believe Rage aren't best impressed with Nintendo at the moment, wonder why that is, cos they make some excellent games.

I think he means by getting it through Steam is with those Vouchers.
