This is (one) my first photoshop images... (exept my display pic... )
Whad do u think? Its a hp iPAQ h2210 i drew from memory, so dont shout at me if its wrong . I cant get the buttons and other shinny parts to shine, anyone???

Man, use Illustrator or Freehand for vectorials instead

I don't say it looks bad, it's good indeed, but:
Photoshop is rather for photographic edition
Illustrator and Freehand are for vectorial drawing, ad hence much easier to use for that purpose

How abt Fireworks for vectorial drawing? because i need to drew an iPod either using fireworks or freehand. And Napster, the Image looks great. good job.

Does anyone know ho to make like a Shiny surface in Photoshop? Like in the attachment, to add into my pic?

That is not a "shiny surface" that's chrome

There are plugins that apply chrome-effects... doing it manually... is a bit tough

For the time my parents made me go to their frinds house, i drew an iPod, even though i am an iRiver Fan (Y) (Y) (Y) (just cuz its easier to make )

the rainbow colors are the worst imho... as you know still images are awfully static so you must add some life to it... starting from backgrounds to very carefully selected shading... it's a whole science in its own way, but when you'll get the hang of this, it's obvious...

I'm not saying your works are bad... they're much better than others I've seen from photoshop beginners... practice practice practice...
