I've used [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\*******@hotmail.com\Preferences\QuoteFormat] to change the format of my quotes, but I was wondering if there was any way to change the format of auto-messages?  Please help if you can.

u can change it through the preferences panel..

Yes, but that doesn't give you full control over the format like QuoteFormat does.  What I want to do is make the "bennoi auto-message:" part blue and the "I am AFK, I will be back at 6.30" part red.

put blue as the color of the autoaway messages, and use the color tags to put red to the text
(So it will look like Chrono Auto-Message:my away message

Yeah, but then I have to put the colour tag in every time, which is kinda annoying and not good if I have to go suddenly.  There probably isn't a way of changing the format permanently but if there is I'd like to know what it is

I got an email saying that raceprouk had posted saying "What does your sig translate to bennoi?" but I can't see it in the thread.  Did someone delete it because it's got nothing to do with the topic?  Anyway, the sig is what this website has translated from the first part of my msn nick, which says bennoi© in weird characters and rainbow colours.  If I shouldn't have posted this because it's off topic just tell me.
