Ok, for all of those who know myBB very well, including patchou, I just installed it, and have set it up. Now all I would like to know is how to make certain areas collase and expand like the messenger plus website. Is there an otion when making the forums that you can do that?? Or do I have to alter the code myself. ?? RE: myBB by Johnny_Mac on 06-25-2004 at 10:51 PM

RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-25-2004 at 11:36 PM
ok, cool. And one last thing. RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-26-2004 at 03:37 AM
Which is higher, a moderator, a super moderator or an admisitrator?? RE: myBB by ddunk on 06-26-2004 at 03:42 AM The order is (from lowest to highest):
RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-26-2004 at 05:05 AM how do you make someone a mod, super mod or admin?? RE: myBB by WDZ on 06-26-2004 at 05:32 AM For admins and super mods, you go in the admin cp, type their name in the "quick user finder" thing then change their usergroup. For regular moderators, go to the "Modify / Delete Forums" page of the cp and click "add mod" under the forum you want the user to moderate. RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-26-2004 at 06:18 AM ok, and a super mod does what exactly?? Does he/she have power over all forums?? RE: myBB by WDZ on 06-26-2004 at 06:26 AM
quote:Yeah, exactly. RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-26-2004 at 06:29 AM ok, what cant he/she do compared to an admin?? And is there a quick way to make someone moderator for all forums?? RE: myBB by WDZ on 06-26-2004 at 07:03 AM
quote:Well, there are quite a few things. The main difference is that admins can access the admin cp. Try editing a usergroup, and look at all the options there. You can give different groups permission to do different stuff. quote:No, that's what super moderators are for. RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-26-2004 at 10:38 PM ok, and what about the shoutbox?? How do I activate that?? RE: myBB by Tochjo on 06-26-2004 at 10:46 PM
quote:The shoutbox is not a part of myBulletinBoard, but you can add it yourself. Go to http://www.mybbmods.com for more information. RE: myBB by ipab on 06-26-2004 at 10:52 PM

I'm not suggesting you do one and go elsewhere (); but they do have forums where people who add mods/need help/offer help post. RE: myBB by king_of_cool_kids on 06-28-2004 at 07:00 AM
