is it possible to change .wma files to .mp3 files cuz if its possible it would be a whole lot easier!

I used to use CDEx until it refused to RIP from my new drives. I now use dBpowerAMP. You can find all the utilities there.

whats the difference between mp3 and wma? cant you put more mp3 songs on a CD-R? that would be handy or do you need more ezpensive disks for mp3's?

MP3 is a format designed by Apple, and doesn't offer content protection.
WMA is a Microsoft format, and is supposed to have better compression. Whether it does or not is debatable, but it does have support for content protection.
Both support ID tags of some sort, and are supported by most players. WMA support on Linux is somewhat lacking, but that's because WMA is an MS format.

MP3 is short for Moving Picture Experts Group, Audio Layer III, and is a compression format that shrinks audio files with only a small sacrifice in sound quality. WMA is supposed (and advertised) to have practically the same quality at 64kbps than MP3s at 112kbps, therefore you can fit the double of songs in a cd. 96kbps to be sure, though

nah i have these .wma's i ripped and i wana put them on my mp3 player buh cant cuz i need mp3z so somethin that can convert licensed .wma'z

You mean you ripped the WMAs with content protection turned on? 
I know this will seem a pain, but you'll have to re-rip them with the content protection turned OFF, or find a ripper that rips straight to MP3.

Well, if you use the tool on this site dBpowerAMP you can RIP straight to MP3 at different bit rates etc.
