I am new to messenger, how can I import my hotmail address book into messenger without having to type them all in?

I do not think you can save your contacts from your hotmail address book to your comp. But what you can do ( only thing I suggest) is to compose a message, click on all the contacts you want to add to messenger  and in the box with all the contacts you were going to send  the mail to, highlite them all hit CTRL C and open wordpad/notepad and his ctrl v. And it should put the emails there. Then just copy and pastethe contacts 1 by 1 to your contact list. I hope this helps.

what u can do is just click add a contact and then choose from my existing address book.
NOTE: you can still only add one at a time and this only works with a hotmail address

Hum, well, dodgy way, but there's no more reliable way to do it automatically.

You may also want to use Messenger Plus! Extra option to copy contact's e-mail address to the clipboard.

Right-click on a contact in the contactlist > Messenger Plus! Extra's > Copy e-mail address to clipboard.
Then you can paste it to the contact addition dialog.

Dodgy, but works as well.
