As some people may know, the Killer Carrot website has been offline for about a week and it won't be coming back for a while now.

The server got hacked and the server admins said it was my fault and they terminated my account, deleting all of my files as well as all the files of the 30 or so people i hosted.

So i apolagise to everyone who i hosted, all of your files are gone :(  I knew i should have downloaded the backups

Once i sort out my new hosting im not sure if i will be hosting people or not, but if i do i will be very selective of who i do host as it some of the poeple i hosted's fault my account was terminated for some of the files they stored on my space.

Also while im here, did people like the old design of Killer Carrot?  as i'm thinking of maybe making a new design.

I didn't reallly like it, it looked kind of basic. You could try pre-made stuff like phpnuke or something to make it look more professional :P

Well, that looks rather unprofessional (to average experienced users) :-/

but it's a good solution to your site needs when you're lazy enough like code it yourself, like me, but I'm too lazy to just download it :refuck:

yea i'd rather spend the time making it myself rather than getting something like phpnuke and spening agges customising it to how you want it.

I was thinking of a redesign cos most of the files arent on my pc, i only made changes online :(

I suppose that's what you get for stealing a great design and not getting the original designer to do it for you, eh?

I liked the design of the site, it was easy on the eyes, although it wasn't very easy too browse around, and the cookies were messed up.

Am I the only one that kept a backup :S, aww well it doesn't matter, i've redesigned the site now anyway.

I don't see the point in why you're constantly redesigning your site, and making new ones that are just a random subject, try and keep the same subject, and you'll probably get more hits :-/

How did they come to that conclusion? I mean you directly hacking the server yourself seems pointless, and I'm sure you wouldn't let any hackers know the login details and how to bypass the FW to telnet the server...

but what ure asking me to do is games DESIGN lol

I had an entire back up with every single file I had in a folder so when I wanted to edit it I could browse it flawlessy without updating it. But then I got rid of it for work on my new site which...I never got around too.
