Very Annoying Problem - Printable Version

I got a new @msn account yesterday, and have been using it as my MSN messenger account, but there is a problem in that whenever I open a conversation window, or soembody opens one with me, an opera window opens and takes me to a page where I can compose an email to this person. Does anybody know how I can stop this happening?

Well using MSN Messenger the only windows that should open are ones in IE. Even if Opera is your default browser.

mine did this 4 a while it was only the first to ppl i clicked on tho and then it was fine and it went away afta a while so i doon wat it is all i cqn think of is its a plugin

I have Stuff Plug-NG set to open all MSN windows in my default browser.

It does it all the time, even after I've restarted 2 or 3 times. Yes I do have Infopen pro.

thats the problem i didnt link it 2gether i uninstalled it becuaceit dosent work with stuffplug ng!

kk i did have info pen pro but i got rid of it and that was wen i was gettin it and i didnt link it 2gther so thas probably it also it wont work if u have stuff plug ng ne way

I uninstalled it properly, and re-installed MSN, now I get this message whenever I try opening it.

have u made sure theres o traces of it anywere and it aint lurkin around in program files or summit?

The entire Prog Files folder is still there, but I can't delete it because it says the files may be write protected or in use. This is eeven after uninstalling it.

close msn messenger and plus by using Ctrl+Alt+Del and then try deleting them thatwill work then

I can't even open MSN, I get the error above. I've tried closing Plus, but it still doesn't work.

yes but if u look in the porsses it mite be still runnin or something or you could try restrating or install it agen then uninstall
