Thanks for the cool plug in for MSN messenger.
What are the steps needed to get a notification sent when you have a new Gmail or yahoo mail sent.
In other words, how to you configure web mail notification instead of pop3 email notificiation?

Any tips or tools would be greatly appreciated. 

you can't have web mail notifications, apart from hotmail & msn of course.

you can how ever use a program called pop goes the gmail this means that u can get notifications with the pop3 account thingie

for gmail you first need to download Pop Goes The Gmail. Install it. Then go to Plus! --> Preferences --> POP3 and add this:

E-mailaddress: your gmail address
POP3-server: localhost : 110 (or the number of the port you entered in PGTG
login/password: is clear I think
e-mailprogram: http://gmail.google.com

As for Yahoo! Mail, I'd advise you to use YahooPops, which you can download from http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net. That site also contains detailed instructions on how to set it up (not with Plus! specifically, but the details are pretty much the same).

nah i'd use Gtray for simply checking the amount of emails u have in Gmail. It doesn't chew up ram like PGTGM and does its job fast and simply . www.gtray.net

Also note that GTray and POP Goes the Gmail are not hooked into MSN Messenger.  They are seperate programs .

if you wanna send instant messages with your gmail account go to www.passport.net and sign it up for a .net passport

i dont get how that works, can i still have the doname of gmail like XXX@gmail.com

This might help you get started. < all the steps, just fill in your gmail where it says "email" and then you can sign in on msn and anywhere you see that "sign in: button.

is there a  way for ito go right to my gmail accont at gmail.com instead of going to outlookexpress when i click on my email inbox?????????

all i use is remember password so  theres no problem
Gmail notifier is easy thats why i like it
that reminds me of song !! but i wont sing it
