Firstly I apologize for the wait on this, but we now have a web-based signup form for everyone to use for their @msgplus.net email addresses.  This will allow you to signup for an email address and have it active within minutes.  I will also include a webmail with it.

Since this is the first night registration is wide open, I'll be moderating accounts pretty much as they come in (since I'm up anyway).  I didn't want to allow anyone to signup without moderation so that I can make sure nobody registers things like admin@msgplus.net, or signs up for too many, etc.

Sorry about that Sean, all is corrected now   Some of the mail was still trying to go locally on the old system, but I added a route to the correct place.

All pending mail accounts have been authenticated.

Also, just as a reminder, please specify a valid email address when signing up.  I would rather not give out accounts to spammers, and if you don't use a valid email account, I can't very well email you and tell you if there's a problem authenticating you.

I signed up for weirdal@msgplus.net 3 or 4 days ago and it hasnt been aproved yet (so it seems)

Most likely no your not. SonicBoom is just behind on activating them. If your using webmail, you have to put yout full name not just weirdal, but weirdal@msgplus.net and select the second server.

Well, not the queue of accounts to activate (after activating some more) has jumped to over 100, perhaps I'll let wj help out with them if he's still willing

Please, also if your account don't get acivated in a specific time period, give us some time to activate it. Please do not apply for acounts more than 1 time because it justs makes up have to go threw the system and pick out the double applied ones. Thanks!

Is it right you don't recieve a confirmation e-mail in your old mailbox ?

I signed up with menthix(at)xs4all.nl as old adress and requested menthix(at)msgplus.net. Just a few minutes ago i saw my mailchecker wasn't giving errors anymore on the msgplus account, but i didn't see a confirmation mail anywhere unless your host is listed on any of the spamfiltes i use . But i'm able to send an recieve mail now, so thanks for the service.

Sunnie, maybe just like happened to me, i can now all of the sudden use my account without any activation message. Just try to login at http://webmail.eq-sys.com/horde/index.php . Use the full e-mailadress as login (including @msgplus.net. Or use it as a POP3 box in your own e-mail client using mail.eq-sys.com as both SMTP (outgoing) and POP3 (incoming) server.

is there a way to have all mail delivered to this address forwarded to a different address?

Not to my knowledge, but I will ask Sonic about it. And if you want your mail forwarded, why even have the address if your not even going to use it?

I don't know why are how or wtf, All I know is that it wouldn't let me activate it for some reason.

I can sign in using the webmail. But i cant set the pop3 up in outlook. do i use the whole address as the username for the pop3
