Using IRC a lot, I've got used to seeing timestamps of when people have last spoken, useful for when you've been away and come back to a PM and you want to know what time someone asked. It would be great if someone could transfer this to MSN with a plugin if some sort, so I hope someone does it. RE: [Request] Timestamps by Cartox on 08-03-2004 at 10:27 PM
MessengerDiscovery has this feature RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 08-03-2004 at 10:28 PM
Will MessengerDiscovery work in conjunction with MsgPlus? RE: [Request] Timestamps by Cartox on 08-03-2004 at 10:40 PM
yeh,i like MD also RE: [Request] Timestamps by giken on 08-04-2004 at 06:09 AM
We all hope you will get more free time in the future RE: RE: [Request] Timestamps by Jolo on 08-04-2004 at 06:49 AM
quote: You're a Master! The timestamps would be great! RE: [Request] Timestamps by Phrive on 08-04-2004 at 06:23 PM i agree time stamps are useful but i dnt really like them if i wanan knwo the time there sent ill look at the chat logs or my clock i dnt reallyl iek it RE: [Request] Timestamps by crank on 08-04-2004 at 06:33 PM I was already thinking about giving that a shot but I don't know how to start... I'm not really good in C or in C++ yet and I am kinda learning it by doing it... Just found a copy of VC++ somewhere and started messing with it. I can do some simple stuff with the msgplus! API but it's way over my head to create some way for timestamps... RE: [Request] Timestamps by EvilSeph on 08-04-2004 at 09:52 PM
Timestamps for StuffPlug NG are done, maybe if we nudge and bug TB some more he'll make MSN more IRC-like RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 08-04-2004 at 09:55 PM Yay! I'm shocked that you did it so quickly, so now, uh, where do we download it from . RE: [Request] Timestamps by CookieRevised on 08-05-2004 at 12:15 AM

quote: thats not the latest version cookie. the latest version is on his site http://www.scito.nl/blasphemer/SPNG/ but the download link seems to be down RE: [Request] Timestamps by CookieRevised on 08-05-2004 at 12:31 AM The link never has worked yet... That site is under construction... Most things you see there are only test-stuff... The latest downloadable version is in the thread and always will be untill TB changes it... RE: [Request] Timestamps by EvilSeph on 08-05-2004 at 01:27 AM It'll probably be released tomorrow, don't quote me on that though RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 08-09-2004 at 02:55 PM Well, we're passed "tomorrow"... . RE: [Request] Timestamps by toddy on 08-09-2004 at 03:03 PM
quote: its not getting released until september ! quote:taken from his website http://www.scito.nl/blasphemer/SPNG/ RE: [Request] Timestamps by Patchou on 08-09-2004 at 05:11 PM Wow, that'S a cool feature for a plugin.. can't wait to see the final version being released, that will be on the news on msgplus.net, that's for sure. Congrats man. RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 08-18-2004 at 08:22 PM
Well, now we have timestamps for spng (yay!) but there's one problem. When using custom names, instead of the person's display name when talking you get their email address. I remeber msg plus had this problem too at some stage which was fixed, so maybe you need to take the same steps Patchou took to sort it. RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 08-21-2004 at 01:09 PM
SOrry to bump this but it would be nice if this problem was fixed, so, uh, RE: RE: [Request] Timestamps by Luke T on 08-21-2004 at 03:41 PM
quote: I'm having the same problem, any idea of a way to fix it? RE: [Request] Timestamps by giken on 10-02-2004 at 11:25 AM I got the same problem with plus 3.01 and stuffplug... now with 3.20 it seems to be solved but i'm not sure (not tested yet) RE: [Request] Timestamps by Luke T on 11-03-2004 at 02:20 PM
Bump RE: [Request] Timestamps by Sunshine on 11-03-2004 at 02:28 PM New plus! public beta and new SPNG for new plus! give it a try RE: [Request] Timestamps by Luke T on 11-04-2004 at 11:05 PM
Still doesn't work :/ My name comes up alright, but all my contacts names come up as their email addresses (in conversation windows). RE: [Request] Timestamps by Luke T on 11-05-2004 at 04:44 PM
Bump... RE: [Request] Timestamps by Luke T on 11-05-2004 at 05:00 PM Ahhh shazbot Oh well, thanks for giving me a straight answer TB RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 11-05-2004 at 05:01 PM Is there no way to work around this? Possibly telling msgplus to look a few characters ahead for the start of the name or something? Come on, you're the genius . RE: [Request] Timestamps by CookieRevised on 11-05-2004 at 07:00 PM
quote:I think the only possible solution would be that Patchou adds timestamps as a feature directly into msgplus. (this will also make those people without stuffplug very happy) RE: [Request] Timestamps by AgentX on 11-05-2004 at 07:00 PM
OK then, RE: [Request] Timestamps by TheDude on 11-05-2004 at 07:45 PM *seconds petition* RE: [Request] Timestamps by TheDude on 11-05-2004 at 08:24 PM awwww come on doesn't it inspire you that there is a 2-strong petition urging you on? RE: [Request] Timestamps by Luke T on 11-06-2004 at 01:12 AM Make that 3 strong! =) RE: [Request] Timestamps by VuDu on 11-06-2004 at 10:05 AM
quote: that's great! that would solve the doulbe timestamps on plus logs because if we want timestamps on the chat windows and timestamps on the contacts activities in the logs we have to enable both msgplus and stuffng's timestamps :] |
