Well, I've just began my Week-Long trial. NO banner ad's and GREAT speed for Websites on 56k . I've so far gotten up to 1200% Faster loading these forums, its really cool, and image quality is barely affected (and noticeable, for that matter). 1200% Faster on 56k? How fast were you going before then?
Other types of internet and faster accounts are mostly only availible for buninesses or on schools/university's (100MBit Dutch FTP server rule). RE: NetZero HiSpeed SpeedWeek Trial by wj on 08-09-2004 at 03:27 PM
Breakdown of broadband costs for my home town (not exactly a small town by any sense 1.2mil pop) code: Pricing in the UK seems alot cheaper. RE: NetZero HiSpeed SpeedWeek Trial by Garndell on 08-09-2004 at 03:35 PM

NetZero HIspeed does not go faster than 56k. ITS THE EXACT SAME SPEED! Its just that HiSpeed uses cache on their server (it downloads the images and saves them for later use so when u go back to the site the images are already on their server (netzero) and your computer so the pictures are alreayd downloaded and makes it go faster) so its not worth getting hispeed. Its just cached and if u go to a site that changes alot it will take the same time to view. This info came from netzero itself .. read the fine print. You are better off going to dsl or cable. Or stick to regular netzero, just enable cache on your computer and it will go the same speed (cache is usually on by default) |
