Hi, RE: Banner bug by Patchou on 08-19-2004 at 05:34 PM Sorry for that glitch, it seems that some people using the latest MSN 6.2 version experience that. As I don't, I can't correct it (at least for now). RE: Banner bug by Sunshine on 08-19-2004 at 08:04 PM
For now u can use a patch to hide the adbanner download the adremovalpatch (for 6.2.0137) here: http://members.lycos.nl/livetab/patch/ RE: Banner bug by TheDude on 08-20-2004 at 01:29 PM
Yeh I'm getting the same sort of thing, the ad keeps shining through and doesnt go until I click the "I want to..." menu, and then it comes back a few minutes later. I will use a patch for now though . RE: Banner bug by hayes eagle on 08-20-2004 at 01:36 PM i am also having the same problem, pretty annoying really RE: Banner bug by dragon2611 on 08-20-2004 at 01:45 PM its definatly something m$ have done as it happned to me 2 and a mate of mine who isnt even using stuffplug so im pretty sure its not that! RE: Banner bug by Jimcando on 08-20-2004 at 02:49 PM Same thing happened to me, until Patchou sorts it out, just download a Advert Removal Patch like Sunshine suggests, that works RE: Banner bug by robadob on 08-20-2004 at 05:02 PM

I can't use the patch :x RE: Banner bug by Menthix on 08-22-2004 at 09:57 AM Patchou has fixed this bug in version 3.10 which will be released at the begin of september. So if you don't want to use the patch or it doesn't work then wait until the new Plus!. RE: RE: Banner bug by flim on 08-22-2004 at 10:12 PM
quote: I also experienced this situation, which btw is frustrating, irritating, and of course, annoying; so I used the patch and it actually worked, thanks Sunshine! And Timor, first you have to quit MSN Messenger in order to apply the patch. If MSN Messenger is still running (or visible on your taskbar) it means it's locked because it is in use. If that doesn't work, try to verify the path for MSN Messenger. Hope you can fix it... RE: Banner bug by matty on 08-23-2004 at 04:43 AM
