No. I'm sorry. The only thing you can do is uninstall Messenger Plus! and don't keep the preferences, and Re-install Messenger Plus! and put a password. I would recomend you writing it down or make a note of it.

You don't need to uninstall or even close anything...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
For Messenger Plus! 5
Open your registry editor (Start > Run > Regedit) and delete
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yuna Software\Messenger Plus!\Windows Live Messenger\<your_account>\Preferences\PreferencesLockPwd
or clear its binary value, this will disable the protection...
After that, you can access the preferences again, even without restarting Windows Live Messenger or Messenger Plus! 5.
But note that you need to go to the preferences again and disable the option to lock the preferences with a password, as this registry key will not delete the internal checkmark remembered by Plus! but only the 'password' that was in place.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
For Messenger Plus! 4
Open your registry editor (Start > Run > Regedit) and delete
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live\<your_account>\Preferences\PreferencesLockPwd
or clear its binary value, this will disable the protection...
After that, you can access the preferences again, even without restarting Windows Live Messenger or Messenger Plus! Live.
But note that you need to go to the preferences again and disable the option to lock the preferences with a password, as this registry key will not delete the internal checkmark remembered by Plus! but only the 'password' that was in place.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
For Messenger Plus! 3
Open your registry editor (Start > Run > Regedit) and delete
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\<your_account>\Preferences\UDataP
or set its value to 0, this will disable the protection...
After that, you can access the preferences again, even without restarting MSN Messenger or Messenger Plus! 3.
But note that you need to set a new password again (or clear the old one) in the Messenger Plus! Preferences, as this registry key will not delete the password itself but only the 'lock' that was in place.
Thus if you enable the "Preferences Panel Lock" again without setting a new password or clearing it, your messenger will be locked again with that password you forgot.
PS: The password itself is stored, encrypted, in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\<your_account>\Preferences\DataP
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Final note
Remember, you don't even need to close Messenger nor Messenger Plus! to do all this. Also, by doing this you don't have to reinstall Messenger Plus! and loosing all your settings...

uninstalled what? You don't need to uninstall MSN Messenger but Messenger Plus!. Both are different things...

It WILL work if you didn't select "keep my preferences", because in that way the key that I pointed out is deleted also (together with all your other settings which is a major drawback with the uninstalling-method)...
