As of today the ad banner removal option does not work any longer 
They have found a way to get through even if the option is checked.
Any solution for this most horrible feature of MSN?

it will be solved in Plus! 3.10 which will be out in September

Since today (27th august '04) I also have the same problem 
If I go to a contact with my mouse, I get de advertisements
So I can't see the name of the contact!
Hopefully this problem will be solved very soon!

I dont particuly mind the ads, sure they make the scroll bar in your contact list smaller but they keep messenger free

Hmm. I don't really know what u all guys (and girls) have with your banners, but i got this since a few days (at the place where the banner appeared before) whatever i checked or not the "hide banners" thingie...

I guess it's like the others problems, and it will be fixed with the Plus! upgrade.

I thought Msn Was Messed Because of a plugin i've uninstalled and installed stuff so much i'm about to die, should have just searched the forum first
