can someone make a plugin that lets u record webcame convos or does anything that has to do with a webcam?!

theres a few programs on the web that can do this, search one http://www.download.com

on http://www.techsmith.com/ you can download SnagIT and Camtasia studio

with SnagIt there is something weird here, Over 3 months I have 25/30 days left from the trial

also, search the forums before asking a question (this has been ask many times before)

those programs suck mainly when u change the windows position or minimize it...

well guess it's spicey to program but he is right obout it suck with externel programs

The external programs suck. Someone has really gotta try theyre shot at making a plugin that records webcam convos

true... but honestly i just want a plugin that does it. if it has a lot other features or if its exclusively for recording webcam sessions i dont really care.

IF this is possible, i dont think it should be added into the stuffpluf ng. IT would make the file bigger (maybe, i dont know much ) and this whole concept of people recording you would be scary. Would someone really want you recording them looking at a screen? Or unless you do other thing, but lets not get into that. Im sorry if im ranting, but i dont think anyone would like to be recorded so you can distribute it to others/watch it later. eek

i think that the other person doesn't matter if you're recording him/her, the problem lays in what him/her is doing, then you don't want to be recorded, but all that is different in each on, so it could be added, and the use of the pulgin should be like when you enter porn sites, it's your responsability not the site if you do something ilegal

well marissa, i think everyone it's different, you se, i can ask a few of my friends and they would say ok, but, that's a nice sugestion but the problem with that, is that if you have that pluggin is like to have an advantage and you can't tell the person about that, that's what i think, but it could be like if you have the pluggin you can tell if you want or not to be recorded, lke an alert of the same pluggin, but if you don't have it, you don't have to know that you are being recorded

I dont think it is an advantage...i just think its creepy how soemone could be recording you, you dont know waht they're going to do with the recordings. hell, someone could be stalking you over the net and they could be sending them you on webcam I dont know, lets not start an argument about our personal opinions.

ok, dont worry, but, i think that your suggestion could be handy if when you have the plugin it ask you if someone else wants to record you, because, if you don't know about the pluggin, then, that means that you don't know that there is even a program that do that

that checkbox option would be useless. u know that already are programs that can record it... and just like tda87 said its ur own responsability to chose what to do.
anyone can go outside with the recording camera and make videos of ppl and buildings around but it's their problem if they do something ilegal with that.
about the ideia of this may be added to stuffng i also agree it wouldnt be a good idea to force ppl to have it. it could be a separeted plugin that we could chose on the instalation process just like a "choose components to install" feature

i think an older version of stuffng had that with screenshot sender and another plugin... or maybe im confusing with another plugin

All external softwares I found on the net are not free

so, the final point, is there someone that offers to do it???

download a program to record it, there doesnt have to be a plug in made for every single thign that involves msn messenger when theres programs out there that to it. If it costs money, then buy it since you want it so bad...not everything in life is free.

Unless of course you try really hard to make it free

i dont even think anyone will make it, unless someones trying to work on it secretly right now ah who knows...use trial programs for now...and if you GOOGLE you will find stuff you never knew existed, maybe even free software!
