Im having a problem with renaming my contacts. While i chat with them it says their email instead of the name i chose for them... and yes i did check both of the options for renaming contacts.. so i should be able to see their name i chose when im chatting with them

Make sure you've set a custom name for that contact as well.

i have this same problem and what raceprouk said doesnt help because me and dangerxone can see the names in the contact list so thats not the problem
