First, we need to know what plugin you are referring to...

There are many plug-ins, by just saying you can't install 'it', we don't know which one. If you could give us the name, we could provide more detailed support.
Right now, it's just the normal things: did you read the readme, did you install it properly, does it show up in the plug-ins list?
