I believe an option should be added to add it into the bar with the emoticon and font selection in it.

I recently installed buddyplay and would frankly rather see the little format bar there

If the option could be added in the preferences that would be dandy

That's a good suggestion actually, and Patchou has already done something similar with the little logo...

Patchou already said he won't do it, cuz of people using the handwriting plugin or other languages wont see it.

no choli the font and emoticon selection are already in messenger by default. I'm talking about the 'ctrl+R' format bar where you can select your font to be in Bold, Italics, Underlined or slashed

Why can't patchou do this? I've just realised that when the chat window is resized 'too-small' the plus logo disappears so why can't the same be added to the format bar, plus if its only an option that is off by default what harm can it cause?

I can't do it for many reasons and one in particular: if the formatting options were so much visible, people would use it without knowing that it'sa Plus! feature and their contacts who don't have Plus! would be bothered by it. The format bar is accessible with Ctrl+R very easily (you can always use Ctr+B ... for direct input of the codes) and can be accessed from the Plus! icon menu... that way, it's clear that it's a Plus!feature

not a brilliant excuse but i understand, why would non plus contacts be annoyed? do they see the symbols?

LoL Hmm a Vote.. I would but i dont understand what u are requesting..

When you press Ctrl+R in a conversation window a format bar comes up. He wants that to be permanently integrated in the bar where emoticons etc are. P.S. I think it's a great idea.

hmm why not just edit the Emoticon one on the toolbar so it will also include msg plus emoticons and stuff...

becasue i think thats illegal editing the actual messenger stuff.

Plus we are only talking about the ctrl + R bar

fukafly what the hell is wrong with you,? A Vote?! Patchou already disagreed to do it! Do you get what "no" is? You can't vote in or out in what patchou wants/doesn't want to put in his program. It was a smart suggestion, but i didn't like the fact of "I fell a vote coming" because he already disagreed, you can't force him to do it.

Plus supresses the codes itself, even if they're not recognised I think. So, to have a plugin supress the codes is kinda pointless... unless you mean a Messenger add-on, which in that case why not just use Plus?

dont keep on trying. If you REALLY want it in MSN Messenger than go ahead make your money get the programming courses and write your own add-on to messenger. Seriously dont keep trying. If you absolutly must then try posting it in the plugin section altho i DOUBT a plugin can be made for this to happen. Its not gonna happen unless something drastic happens.

......It was a suggestion, some people find it popular others not.
