I was wondering if there's a way with Msgplus, or a plugin that would let me assign a perticular key combination for away status.
I've done a few searches on the forum, but didn't find anything.

Go to the preferences of plus (menu PLus > preferences) and inthe section Personalised status click on the subsection personalised statues. There you can manage your away statuses and assign them a shortcut

If you're talking about setting the standard statuses, I was going to work on such a plugin. Never quite got it working though... may try again one day.

Neally there. I kind of need it to go out of the status when the combination is pressed again.

Nichol as well as Choli and I are talking about personalised away statusses...

Too bad there is no keystroke which can set you back online, just like there are that can set you away. Generally speaking that is, not just from personalised away..

yup, and for that I once suggested to add all the statusses to the dropdown box in the personalised status preferences... In that way, people can choose "online" as well for a personalised status, and thus a) having a shortcut and B) even a personalised status...

There ought to be some kind of features page, where everybody can submit their feature requests, and vote for others, thus bringing order in the list. (Most voted for on top.) Monderated, of course, to filter out the stupid requests and those unrealisable. =P

I didn't do it because there's a limit to what I wantto add in Plus!. Istill want to add it though, but later . Note that this would be perfectly possible for a plugin to do.
