I receive a ping request and my computer answer Pong!!!......what is this????...is this any bad???.

it just contacts the other computer and sees if it has plus! install by something or other...someone will come a long and give you the more technical version.

Zanvetto, ping is a sort of method on internet to see how long it takes for a remote pc to react, with other words, figure out the response time. (How fast/slow your connection to the person is, how long it takes for your signal to get to the other side and back). Therefore, if somebody sends Ping to you, your Messenger Plus! will answer automatically with Pong, so that the other side knows how long it takes for your pong to appear on your screen, thus knowing how long the response time is. If you want to test this yourself, just type /ping in a conversation window, and you'll see a contact replying with Pong [2ms] for example, 2ms, being 2 milliseconds, being the time it took for the message to go there and back.
