Add-me-to-list requests are not logged by lazerfisk on 09-16-2004 at 11:43 AM
I noticed this morning that "<user> has added you to his/her contact list" messages are not logged. I found out this by accepting the request, and got slapped in the face by a "can't add user, your list is full" message with only the contacts name - not the address... So whoever it was is now lost 
It would be very convenient if also these events were logged

I dont think Plus! monitors the contact list list. Any features suggested now will take a while to come out anyway, as Patchou wont add any more features to 3.2

Plus! does in fact monitor the contact list
I noticed in the log "<name> has been removed from your contact list", so it detects when i am *deleting* persons, but not when i get an add request

To acces the Reverse List in MSN Messenger, go to "Tools > Options > Privacy > View"
There you will see a huge list of all the persons who have added you. The contact will be in that list. If you rightclick a contact, you'll have an option to add them to your list. This option will be grayed out if the person is already in your list...
Another way of controling your lists is to use a listcleaner. Here is a list of some good ones: CookieRevised's reply to Contact List Manager. The best among them is NoRoom's Listcleaner.
