REQUESTING PLUGIN by triphis on 09-26-2004 at 01:16 AM
First, let me ask if there is any way to just ADD a new command, if someone such as myself has no programing knowledge
Second, does anyone KNOW of a plug in of which it's sole purpose is to add new commands?
Third, can anyone make such a program? lol
---------------------------
The reasoning: NONE of these MP3-to-Nickname programs work for me. I DON'T know why, and I really don't have the time to figure it out. So currently, I do:
/nick Zach << Curently Playing (!WAT) >>
manually, and have it stored on the clipboard to update frequently. I would prefer to just type a shorter command that DOES that automatically, or have a command that executes said command from a text file (so I can change my nickname "Zach" to anything easily.
YES, I userstand what I am asking for is the WHOLE point of these programs, but like I said before, NONE of them seem to work. If anyone can be of assistance... thanks

Use a quicktext , Set the quicktext content too
/nick Zach << Curently Playing (!WAT) >>
and set the command to /changenick
and then typing /changenick in a conversation window will update it

I'll fix it for you
It'll be ready soon.
Ow srry i won't be able to... No time left today and next weekend i'm going away. Bad luck.
I don't really know if (!WAT) works as a plugin output so i can't tell atm.
I would make it like this:
like it sets your nick to:
(A Parameter you can define) << Current song: (!WAT) >>
But i don't know it's possible that way

I dont think the (!WAT) will get parsed, as the output of plugins is ignored as otherwise it could get stuck in an endless loop
