how about when u change your backround u get a box that says , "centred, Stretched, or tiled" that would be great, b/c sometimes i have great images as backrounds but no matter wat it ends up pixilated or soemthing, and i dont like to havea small conversation windo

Ehm no?
There is no such option in MSN. It will be stretched by default.
I donno if there's a possibility to change this with a plug.

couldnt you just get the width of height of the IM form (dont know if its possible) then write a new image depended on what the selected so if they selected "cetered" then you can make that imagebox or whatever to the size of the IM window and divide the width and height by 2 so its centered then paint the new image over using bitblt or something and set that pic as the background. again with tiled just get the width of the picture they want to set as the background and paint multiple copies of it after one another so its tiled, and seeing at already streches just set the pic they want as the background. the only problem is getting the width and heigh of the IM form.
