Hey everyone,

I've been with MsgPlus! for over a year now.

Just popped on for a few minutes because I was wondering how many programs other members here have loaded in their Start Menu.

MSN Messenger 7.0 Beta is neat, shame that MsgPlus! doesn't work with it yet.  Hopefully soon. 

Anyway, I have too many programs to count, it even goes off the screen a little...



It would be neat to see other people's screenshots, comparing my embarrassing amount to other's.

You should clean that up, for example - you don't need a way to manually access DIVx codecs or the shitty player, and you don't need WinRar AND WinZip

Yeah, one day I might clear that out.  (That'll take me awhile though).

yeh u really need to delete some stuff off there

holy shite it doesn't even fit the monitor!!! what i do is to sort the programs into different folders based on their catogory

WTF?!? How is this hacking? On Windows XP the Start Menu contents are stored in C:\Documents And Settings\%User Name%\Start Menu and C:\Documents And Settings\All Users\Start Menu

I just created folders and organized all of it.

I have 2 full columns under "All Programs"... I guess that's between 60 and 70 items. Every time a 3rd column shows up, I delete or move something...

heres mine, i do the same as dz, if it gets past 2 columns, then I have a major cleanout

Mine had three collums and i think 2 is enough so as soon as i saw this thread i just thought to myself i need a cleanup so heres a new shot of it (Should have posted before and after shots, shame i didnt think of it before it was too late!)

Actually..Now im about half way through the list and realised i have multiple folders and shorcuts that are infact the same program, that program shorcuts in about 5 different folders with similar and different names..This will take too long i cant be bothered to clean my start menu!

i don't even use it...

and huge start menus are sad ¬_¬

You think 3 colums is bad? I have a friend with dual monitors and is essentially addicted to cracking programs.....he has at least 5 colums (@ 1280x1024 per monitor) at any point in time That's at least a couple hundred programs at any point in time

Here's mine, I have porblems keeping everything on-screen, so I clean it pretty often. But, if someone asks why I have both WinZip, Rar and Ace, it's because I use WinZip as my main, and WinRar for rar files and WinAce for ace files.

I think I have about 60... I use that menu-scroll function which I personally really like. I have about 5 things on my desktop though, I put everything in the start menu, else in that quickstart thingie

Mine takes up about 1/16 of my desktop... I couldn't stand having some of yours, but then again, I can't stand any res below about 1600x1200
