Pig Latin Translation by sammyfluff13 on 10-12-2004 at 06:59 AM

Hey everybody! I'm working on translating Messenger Plus! into Pig Latin. You can download the current version at the bottom of this message.

Save it to C:\ Program Files \ Messenger Plus! 3 \ Resources \

If you installed it in a different folder, save it in the subdirectory Resources.

Current Version - v1.0

How? Are you using this? http://www.snowcrest.net/donnelly/piglatin.html

I'm only using it for the really long messages. The shortish ones I can do myself.

• Pig Latin
Secret language in which the first letter or syllable of a word is transferred to the end and the syllable ay is added. Thus scram becomes amscray.

Pig-Latin is sort of a dumb language. Use real Latin if you are going to be really useful.

RE: RE: Pig Latin Translation by sammyfluff13 on 10-17-2004 at 03:01 AM

For those of you who don't know what pig latin is, it's this.

Take the letters before the first vowel and put them at the end and add 'ay'.

Examples:
Sam = Amsay
Newgrounds = Ewgroundsnay
Messenger = Essengermay
Cool = Oolcay

If the word starts with a vowel, just add 'yay' at the end. (Certain locations around the world may use this differently)

Examples:
Igloo = Iglooyay
Opta = Optayay
Icon = Iconyay
Amazing = Amazingyay

isn't it "way" instead of "yay"?

As I said, certain people may do that differently. Depends on where you are on the planet.
RE: Pig Latin Translation by Novex on 10-17-2004 at 01:41 PM

it's the first letter, appended to the end with "ay" added to the end :P

that is when the words start with a consonant. When they start with vowel it's when you add yay or way
