Why not use KSMAS? I mean it's very simple and very easy to use?

It's bloated, compared to other random avatar scripts. 
He's probably looking for one that's like 5 lines of code in one file.

heres a quick one i made it supports .jpg (and .jpeg), .gif and png image's just open the file up and edit what folder you want the script to search for images in (defult is /img inside current directory)
