whenever i try to view chat logs from my contacts..i get a error message...but when i go to My Documents>My Chat Logs, im able to open the chat logs and view them so..how do i fix this? i tried uninstalling and reinstalling msgplus but still..

I Have that problem aswell, my notepad is "broken" and it doesnt open  anything, including chat logs. If you wanna open your chat logs, you have to right click the file, "Open with..." and choose notepad, or wordpad, or something that open text documents.


its a pain in the arse, and i havent yet been able to change it to my default text opener (yet...)


Edit: I got it, right click one of your chat logs(or any text document)> Properties> "Opens With..." and choose your text document opener.

oh yea.. i remember my notepad being broken when i reformatted my computer...hmmhow come when i try to Browse and select NOTEPAD.EXE to be the default program to opening text files...it doesnt show up? i double clicked the program but it doesnt appear on the list...

how do fix notepad anyways?

if you are using windows xp..just download that and replace the file in the zip with the notepad in c:\windows and c:\windows\system32
