Animated custom emoticons: I don't think so. quote:that's because they're built-in in messenger, ie. they're the original ones. RE: Animated custom emotes by lyonsp on 11-06-2004 at 11:32 PM

RE: Animated custom emotes by Choli on 11-06-2004 at 11:36 PM ah! animated no, sorry RE: Animated custom emotes by lyonsp on 11-06-2004 at 11:37 PM with normal custom emotes the other person gets the jpg or bmp or wateva off u why cant it b a gif that is animated i dont see why it wud b sauch a big thing to do!?!? if anyone could make a plugi nthat could do this i would be very happy RE: Animated custom emotes by Choli on 11-06-2004 at 11:55 PM when you add a custom emoticon, messenger stores it as a png, although it was originally a gif, jgp, bmp, etc... The png file is sent to the contact. Png images doesn't support animation, that's why if you try to use an animated gif you'll only see the first frame. RE: Animated custom emotes by Chrono on 11-07-2004 at 12:04 AM doesnt MSN 7 let u add animated custom emotes? i think so... RE: Animated custom emotes by Choli on 11-07-2004 at 12:10 AM

OMFG the animated emotes work RE: Animated custom emotes by opdude on 11-07-2004 at 03:08 PM you can make animated ce's in msn 7 and also msn 7 allows you to make the animated emotes quite big, maybe not as big as you want them but big enough to make most emoticons look good and not squished up. RE: Animated custom emotes by aNILEator on 11-07-2004 at 03:19 PM it has errors, some of them aren't animated RE: Animated custom emotes by lyonsp on 11-08-2004 at 12:47 PM
i can send animated emots but they r squished if they r not square RE: Animated custom emotes by aNILEator on 11-08-2004 at 04:21 PM I found some great looking 50x50 animated emoticons but only some of them are picked up as animated by msn messenger RE: Animated custom emotes by lyonsp on 11-09-2004 at 10:09 PM Where did u find 50 x 50 animated emotes all the ones i find are either not square or F*%^ing tiny. ooo question will the new stuff-ng enable any size animated emotes?? RE: Animated custom emotes by aNILEator on 11-09-2004 at 11:30 PM i found them on some shitty site, some are bigger than 50x50 but anyway, animated emotes still may be removed from final build leaving MS to implement winks (GRRRR *BITES AT DODGY WINKS*) RE: Animated custom emotes by Cromp on 11-10-2004 at 08:18 PM
msn 7 has them, and u can add them right now. i have the latest version of msn 7 and all previous versions and they worked fine in everyone. |
