Last I checked..you don't get Internet Explorer 6.5 with SP2..I've never even heard of 6.5...

There is no IE6.5
If there is, then it's part of Longhorn, which is private beta still I believe.

The version number of IE in SP2 is still 6.0
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 to be precise

Well There is a newere IE, but it belongs to Longhorn (nooo!)
But the curent IE version is (version pre 6.05)

I can't wait until longhorn comes out, I know that it will be a while, but its just getting on my nerves

I'd just install SP2 to be honest.
However, if you *must* have only the latest IE, try downloading the installer from the IE homepage (Google for it as I can't remember what it is).
