Was it too much to ask??? Jeez until somebody realized that the general public doesnt like conceptual crap... such as the mascots in Athens, etc....

i dont like it tbh..

but its WAY better than the athens one :P (well, maybe cause that was the crappiest mascot ever :P)

I like the mascot, its cool, Lions are cool, and the little football guy looks funny.

I wasn't around back then though was I!!! lol

The mascots have definitely improved through the ages, they've got better, but there is the odd time when they are very bad.. Either way, the little tomatoe isn't very well drawn is it :S..

Btw, the qualifications to the Germany World Cup are very difficult, (well Mexico have a crappy group, and of course, it was easy to qualify :dodgy: ) Costa Rica is in the "death" group. :P

the sydney ones were great because they relate to australia and the names related but they sounded a bit dodgy tbh.
the athens mascots just suck period.
they need to do something different like springy from the simpsons:P:P

Is that even possible to be a mascot lol, stupid simpsons lol, it could be possible with the use of mirrors and/or magic.

Either way, I doubt that would be a mascot for certain copyright reasons..
