At the time of writing this, I was having a bloody hard time being able to create this thread.
I could not find the New Thread button anywhere, so I decided to scan the page with Firefox extension Web Developer's "Find Broken Images", and yes, it did return newthread.gif as a broken image.

I have no experience whatsoever with myBB *shrugs*, and I just GUESSED that "?fid=" is the correct argument to pass to newthread.php (which I didnt know if was correct filename ) to get it to create thread in correct forum.

I am using Firefox 1.0 on Fedora Core 3, fully updated.
Please fix this

Wow... someone else had the same problem recently, but I can't find the thread. Blocking the string "ad" is a stupid thing to do, so I'm not gonna rename newthread.gif. I could see blocking ad/ or /ad, but "ad" can be found in tons of URLs...

Nah, blocking /ad and ad/ seems to be dumb too. what about the image urls called "/upload/"...... Which I also got slammed down on me....
So all I "*block*" now is "advertising" XD
