I'm using Windows 98SE and MSN Messenger 6.2.
I also have a webcam which works just fine in any other video conferencing application I've tried (yahoo messenger, iSPQ, Netmeeting), it even worked on older MSN Messenger version (not sure which version it wasthough).
Now, with MSN Messenger 6.2 everthing works fine in an ordinary chat conversation. I can also view other people's webcams, but can't get my cam working. Worse even, when I start the webcam in Messenger, the Messenger application freezes and shuts down. I have to restart it to continue my chat sessions.
I've tried it with starting my webcam myself as well as by having it started by the people I'm chatting with.. No success..
Anybody has any idea what could be wrong here ?

hmmmaybe the cam just isnt compatible with msn try reinstalling it and playing around with the camera settings
argh i just noticed how old this is lol he needs help tho
