I got centurytel dsl and it downloads at like 50kb and it should at like 200kb and i am on a home network of 3 other computers um i got a newer computer..... so

It depends on where you are downloading from. Some servers can't handle 200kb downloads. Try downloading from a site like microsoft.com or a site you know can handle more than 200kb or greater. It also depends on how far you are geographically from a location you are downloading from. There's a lot more that determines download speed than just what your ISP gives you.
