My friend , TylerG, is getting a new laptop and would like some opinions. He has been saving up a while and is looking to buy around Christmas time. He is looking for something cheap (Around $1,200 USD). RE: Getting a laptop - Recomendations? by Concord Dawn on 12-03-2004 at 12:05 AM How much money are we talking? And for what purpose? quote: Sony Vaio isn't bad, but their lower end machines aren't great either. DO NOT let him buy an E-Machines, they suck. I suggest Dell, they have good machines, a good price and good product support. IMO he should waituntil he can buy a more high-end machine, otherwise he'll prob. regret it later. Go for a Dell, Toshiba, HP or Sony. RE: Getting a laptop - Recomendations? by Concord Dawn on 12-03-2004 at 12:08 AM Or Voodoo. Amazing gaming machines! RE: Getting a laptop - Recomendations? by Moo on 12-03-2004 at 12:35 AM I personally prefer Toshiba RE: RE: Getting a laptop - Recomendations? by Hank on 12-03-2004 at 12:35 AM
