ive got 2 pcs, one with 147 accounts and one with 145. is this possible? ever since ive got to move from one pc to another every week, ive had this problem, only the first few times i thought i was seeing it wrong. now im sure. does msn delete contacts that are old and not talked to or blocked?

Well the limit is 150 contacts then stuff goes funky...
This shouldn't really be happening... unless did you import your contacts from outlook express then delete a couple from OE?
If it's not that then I don't know..yes, I did look up the info.

nope didnt do any of that, i deleted down to 145 to not get over the 150 limit, but ive been added since, yet at one pc its still 145.

Are both computers using the same version of Messenger? Make sure that both of them are on 6.2.0137 (if you are unsure how to find this out go to the main messenger window > Help > About and look there)...
Also some other things that may cause this are things like smiley central, patches, games patches, skins, polygamy patches, moded clients ect. If you recognise any of those and have used them get rid of them and see if it still happens.
