freeware? mmm... I don't know any, but if you google ti you'll find lots, sure. However let me suggest you some non-free software but it's very good for writting music (and of course, you can import midis and modifiy and print them). RE: MIDI Software by DJeX on 01-04-2005 at 12:55 AM Use NoteWorthy Composer, opens midi files and creates sheet music for them to print or save to Adobe Acrobat file. I personally use Cubase, but that isn't freeware, so I would recommend NoteWorthy Composer - but I'm sure when I used that it put "unregistered" over every second staff of music when printing. RE: MIDI Software by aNILEator on 01-04-2005 at 04:31 PM hey chris you say you use cubase, i have made this drum beat for my music coursework on it (using Cubase SL 2) and when i print the notation off it all overlaps itself do you know how to add a bigger space or sumat like that? Fukafly - I've only used SX, but i presume it's the same as SL. Open the midi file in the staff editor (CTRL + R when the track is highlighted) then chose "Scores -> Page Mode" then "Scores -> Auto Layout -> Spread Page". |
