I just have a simple question:

Are you gonna keep from changing the email address that sends the reply notifications? It's pestering me off, you changed it 3 times since the server change. Are you gonna do it again? :P

Greetz :D

It has always been "Messenger Plus! Forums Mailer [msgplus@msghelp.net]" for me, at least since I receive them (Email notification problem)

msgplus@shoutbox.menthix.net has been one which I remember.

That was temporary, probably just a glitch. All e-mails since that sole one with that address have had the same, current address.

No, of course it won't keep changing. It was originally set to a @softhome.net address, but I had to change that because SPF won't allow the forum server to "lie" about its address. Now it's set to @msghelp.net, which is accepted by SPF, so I guess it will stay like that unless there are problems.

Unfortunately, in order to make SPF happy, I now can't recieve mailer errors and stuff, because I can't view the mails that msghelp.net recieves. :dodgy:

Oki, thanks for clearing that :)

(and sorry for the rude post, wasn't meant to be but reading it again made me find out )

You do know that your shell account is a standard pop3/imap account too? And that pop3/imap are installed on the server - just use the ssl connection ports.

Imap is much cooler than pop3 ;)

No? I don't know shit about Linux. :p

Can this server even recieve mail? There's no DNS MX record... is that necessary? :dodgy:
