Messenger Plus! wont load at startup by Flames on 01-08-2005 at 09:17 PM

i have msn messenger 7.0.0425 and i installed the new Messenger Plus beta:
installation successful
program works great
however, plus wont load at startup unless i exit my messenger program,  run the plus program then restart my msn messenger...
is there anyway to fix this? cuz this is quite annoying |-)

p.s. i also tried forcing the plus program to load at startup by changing it at the prereference, and sometimes my display name dont show the color display but rather my raw name :|

any solutions? bugs?

Have you installed Messenger Plus on a non administrator account? If so you will need to install it on an account with administrative capabilities...

Do you experience this problem with earlier versions of MSN and\or Plus!?...I assume you are using Windows XP?

To be sure you installed it on an account with all priviledges i suggest rebooting into safemode and install on the account called "administrator" (something may be wrong with the priviledges on your regular account).

If that doesn't solve it you can always force it to load on start up or place it in startup folder.
