This is the feature that I have really missed for a long time but never seen in Plus!: RE: Refreshing the nick periodically (for showing the local time) by Phrive on 01-09-2005 at 01:05 PM It would be nice, but i don't know if its practicle, every minute your contact would get a toast sayin they have changed there name, its been suggested before showing that its a popular idea, but not so practical RE: Refreshing the nick periodically (for showing the local time) by Mike on 01-09-2005 at 03:06 PM
Yeah, like Phrive said, it would be annoying if you have the "Contact has changed his/her name" option of Plus! on. RE: Refreshing the nick periodically (for showing the local time) by Phrive on 01-09-2005 at 03:11 PM
ADP can do this, i was thinking that when i write the last post RE: Refreshing the nick periodically (for showing the local time) by musiphil on 01-09-2005 at 09:21 PM
If every minute is too often, well, it could also be every hour.. if I omit the minute part (which would be the same in almost all timezones). By the way, if the pop-up notices for a particular user's changed nick are annoying, can't it be disabled on a per-user basis?
