Hello, RE: Boss protection Bug!? by _Humphreys on 01-14-2005 at 10:12 PM Nah man this is not a bug it is programmed to be like this you'll just have to turn the volume down man. RE: Boss protection Bug!? by To1ne on 01-14-2005 at 11:39 PM
Yeah, could be, but actually I don't like it! RE: Boss protection Bug!? by Patchou on 01-16-2005 at 08:19 PM I would have added it Larry, the problem is that I can't... the only thing I could do is turn off the volume of the whole computer and it would not suit everyone (I know some people use this mode to play games). Sorry! RE: Boss protection Bug!? by To1ne on 01-16-2005 at 10:33 PM
Damn! RE: Boss protection Bug!? by Patchou on 01-16-2005 at 11:42 PM Well, I can't change the sound scheme so easily from Messenger Plus!, but it was a good idea. Maybe I'll jsutadd an option to turn off the main volume when going in boss protect mode, I'll add that to my todo list . RE: Boss protection Bug!? by beastie on 01-19-2005 at 10:11 PM
quote: 1. Copy out the contents of HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\MSNMSGR to a key under the HKCU MsgPlus settings. 2. Iteratively set the default value in HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\MSNMSGR\<keyname>\.Current to a blank string. 3. On return from boss mode, or when MsgPlus restarts (in case of a crash), write back the values you copied out in step 1. So Patchou, now just adding this in the orginal Msg Plus! and no more sounds in Boss will be heard! RE: Boss protection Bug!? by To1ne on 03-14-2005 at 08:51 PM
I saw you can disable notifications for the folowing events: RE: Boss protection Bug!? by Patchou on 03-14-2005 at 08:57 PM Unfortunately no, not that easily... I can change the registrys ettings however, Messenger won't use them as long as it's not restarted. As I said, I'll keep your suggestion for future updates RE: Boss protection Bug!? by beastie on 03-14-2005 at 09:03 PM There has to be a way to force Messenger to pick up new sound settings, since changes made in the control panel are recognized right away. What about sending it WM_SETTINGCHANGE? |
