Well yeah, this is one hell of a game, and I thought that if you have any tips or anything, can you post them, cause its quite a creepy game and stuff... and i've died a couple of times 
... which sucks... and I seem to be going around in circles after this bit:

Congratulations on making this thread kill dialup connections
Ive never been a fan of the doom series its to dark for me. I like my graphics bright and difficult to render 
Also ive always seen it as just running a shooting.

Yeah, its definitely worth getting, if you liked half life 2/halo or w/e... then its great, the graphics are awesome, the gameplays great, and the AI is awesome, it takes a while to load sometimes though, but thats cause it runs straight in and out of fmvs rather than loading the fmvs seperately... So if you walk into a room and you look in a mirror, you start freaking out...
it gets dodgy, cause you go insane slowly, and the screen goes all red and crap

I think the game is kinda good. It's f*cking creepy and you have this typical scary scenes where the light falls out and suddenly a few monster attack you in the dark. The game itself it beautiful. And yeah, there is a lot of blood in the game, but some movies are far worse
BTW... the final boss is much too easy . But enjoy the game! I liked it.

You see the framerate in the right top (you can show it by typing something in the console) and in the bottom you see where in the game this screen was taken (Delta 4 Junction 1) . It's not far from the end.

Traxor, looks like you have an ATI and there's some shading problems, right? There's some tweaks in some files for those cards to boost the fps and improve the shadows... Wished I'd find them... 
Btw, the keeper is the best boss, the sarge's ok (but they openly tell you how to kill him/it). The final boss is wow, huge, but it's rather easy.
