I adore stuffplug ng 0.7. I think it's great although there are a few bugs on the 1 that works with msn messenger 7.0 (beta) i still use it.

This thread is here so every fan of stuffplug can receive news + updates of stuffplug NG2. eg. new features, is it ready yet?

Ive almost got it, ive guessed the thing to enable tabs.
Ive made the tabs key with another key called "Msgplus", ive done all the registary values like the ones in the screen shot on your space.
But it doesnt show the plus tab, i feel like im missing one thing

It tells me it cant find the Entrace Point RichEdit10ANSIWndProc on the Dinamic Library RICHED20.dll!!
I never had this problem before but i cant install it cos of this, as when i do it tells me this and closes the installer!

If I use the timestamp feature while Plus Custom Names are enabled, I see the e-mail address of my contact in the conversation window (even if I don't have a custom name set for that particular contact).
If I disable Custom Names, the timestamp and contact display nae appear fine.

these are bugs i suppose,

When i block someone and talk to them your name disappears, so it just shows the says: in messages, with a blank character before the says. - EDIT: seems it was because i had custom names enabled without actually putting in a custom name .

It also changes the name of blocked contacts to another name on your contact list - but only temporarily it seems.

This is off topic but this is what msn does. It removes people if they have been inactive for a while this does not affect anything such as games and file transfers.

No you can't as when you appear offline the msn convo windows become frozen out. So you can't type in them.

I found a little bug, it's not an important one, but still you may want to correct it. When you open the preferences and enable some options, and then "change language" the options that were enabled are no more. I know that most off the time a person change the language and then enable the options, but maybe you want to correct this.

And now a suggestion for the “Clickable URLs in names” feature. In Messenger 7, if we have Plus! installed the names that have colour already appear in the contact list with the colour, so can you also put a clickable URL if the person has a URL in the name?

i found a glitch are a bug.. if u have the mess patch installed and enabled the additional display picture sizes. and then install stuffplug and enable oversized display pics, also it messes up the layout, and size of ure display, anyone know whats the difference for each one does ,  i can only use one.

Hi, I would like to say hello to everyone here... I'm new to this community... i have an issue that i need assistance with so if anyone could be of help it would be appreciated... i just got the NG2 plug in and not only did it not make my display pictures larger but it blocked it from going over medium size. I don't know what the problem is but everything else in the plug in seems fine. I especially like the close conversation notification... Anyway, help please...

Since the last stable version (that is when I first downloaded it), I have never been able to use the "Open in default browser" feature. If I click on a link in a convo, it opens in Explorer. If click the link to check my email, it opens in Explorer but this time, it has opened in a different page with the text: You will now be redirected to the site you desired. If this is not the case please click [here]. I use Maxthon. I just added Firefor as my default and found out it works with it. Is this a problem with Maxthon or SPNG2?

This plugin rocks i just have one point that could inprove the timestamp feture could you give us the choice for 12 hour time insted of 24 hour time.

There's also a redundance of timestamps if they're enabled in Plus's logging preferences.

ie. if you enable timestamps both in Plus' log and in SPNG2's conversation window option, you'll get 2 timestamps in your log.

SPNG 2 might not be fully compatiable with Msn 6.2.

Edit : SPNG 2 is designed to work with msn 7.0, With msn 7.0 the Window Open Notifier dose not work this why it was not included.

some of them don't work due to the changes in msn messenger 7 and some older features were really buggy and TB has decided to leave them out and include them in a later version

Really that can't be a good judging line...ALPHAs can be as public as BETAs, and BETAs aren't usually public it all depends on the maker. I can understand how you got confused though, for an Alpha it is very stable and doesn't seem to have any bugs
