Well I live in Canada and they dub over the super-bowl ads . I wanted to know if somebody who lives in the USA could record the super-bowl ads then upload them to a web server or something bcz the super-bowl ads are usually prety cool RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by Vilkku on 02-04-2005 at 07:26 AM Yeah I agree. In Finland they won't show any ads, just what happens while you are watching the ads. RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by WDZ on 02-04-2005 at 07:32 AM
Why don't they show the ads outside of the US? The info isn't relevant? RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by *Saint* on 02-04-2005 at 08:17 PM
quote:Canada has Media laws thats allows Canadian advertisers put their ads instead Canadian Public Policy, 1992, vol. 18, issue 2, pages 166-175 By law, 50 percent of private Canadian television broadcasters' programming must be Canadian. RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by saralk on 02-04-2005 at 08:22 PM the american advertisers probably have only paid for the advertising in the US, and so the Canadian broadcasting company isnt getting any money for the advertising. Diddy RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by WDZ on 02-07-2005 at 02:33 PM

quote: I just saw it on ifilm. Got the same problem as blade, canadian ads instead of american ads. We did have a cool Blockbuster ad though. RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by Guido on 02-07-2005 at 04:14 PM Yeah, Ifilm always has the ads the same day they are shown. As for the wardrobe malfunction and others like one of the Godaddy's ones, they were not on TV but you can see them on ifilm as well. quote:Exactly, they will just resell the ad space. Same happens with every other event that's broadcasted live internationally... say Grammys, Oscars, whatever. I didn't even bother to see if they showed the Superbowl locally , I think they used to have it on ESPN. RE: Can someone record the super-bowl ads? by wj on 02-07-2005 at 04:16 PM
