ok my msn is a but mess up i block some one then when i go to unblock him its says 'We cannot update your address book at this time. Please try and make this change adgin later.' what does this mean

the msn messenger server was probably down or getting repaired, it has been known to happen from time to time

Try signing out then back in then trying to unblock them and it should work.

Yep stuff like this happens most of the time. 
The one that normally happens to me is I sign in and it can't find my contact list.

Yup, this has happened before. Simple, just exit, go back on and try again. If that doesn't help, just wait a while and try again. 
It's probably the MSN servers.

Check http://messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx from time to time
