Any fix for this, other than shutting off timestamps?

No other solution for that atm (maybe it will be fixed in next release of Plus! and SPNG2).

New SPNG2 and Msgplus betas will fix this, but they're not out yet
Keep your eyes open for SPNG 2.1 and Plus! 3.5 (it'll only work if you have both
