How does our forum count b'dayz for ppl born on 29th of feb :rolleyes:
How is their age counted. Is it counted normally like us ^o)

well all it does is get all the users where the birthday column is 29th of february from the mysql db. then it just echos a link to their profile with their name and their age (just one mysql query :cheesy:)

I would of thought that the birth date was substracted from the current date.

Thats because 2005 isnt a leap year.
But 2004 is so....

Thats the whole point of the thread that how it counts the birthdays on 29 feb.

I think the most logical way would be to use the year subtraction method but then when should the age chage ? 1st of march ^o) I guess they would have a problem seeing that they could drink alcohol only at 84 :| J/k

In a leap year, one year is added on 29th February. Else, one year is added on 1st March. Take a look at fluffy_lobster's profile (and age) for example.
