Hi everybody from Spain
This is my first post here, and im looking for help.
I have lost the labels (tabs?) that appears in the main window of msn messenger (thant ones related to msn search, money, etc..) also when im in the conversation windows and press the games button, the is no games avaible to select somethig like try later appears, also cannot accept the invitation to join a game (not avalible or something like that).
The fact is that i dont remember what i do to remove accidentaly those labels.
I try to desinstall msn messenger 6.2 and reinstall to desintall again and reinstal 7.0 (cool) but the problem is still there.
I hope some expert or developer could help me in this problem that appears to be something whit register (i think).

i had a similar problem as you before, and i ended up having to reinstall my system.

if you used a patch of some sort to get rid of the tabs/games ( i am not too sure about registry settings), but i'm assuming they would be fixed with the reinstallation of msn. i am not sure though.

check back here. hopefully somebody will post here and help you out better, but if not than maybe reinstall the system -is what you should do.

Goto the messenger main window and then click on "tools"
Then follow this path
tools -> options -> tabs
Then check if the option "show tabs in the messenger window" is enabled   If not then enable it. That should solve your problem.

EDIT: The problem with the games not available as in it says that it cannot connect or the service is currently unavailable is usually because of a problem in their server. So try it at a later time. And as u said that u live in Spain which is a big country so it should be working soon. If its not then the problem is with you. Then i would suggest checking ur firewall settings if u do indeed use a firewall but i doubt if thats the problem.
