My question is: Is there an advanced status plug-in?
one where you could assign a status for ech contact so you could assign your offline/online/away etc. status for each contact

Not possible due to protocol limitations...

To be even more precise:
If you use any other status then they defined the server will automaticly kick you of it, so statusses like "coffee" "sleeping" etc wouldn't be possible...
