RE: broadband upgrade by spokes on 03-12-2005 at 05:53 PM b4, my bt was 576kbps, 15gb a month, now its 2.2mbps, 15 gb a month and the best thing is i live about 100metres from the bt exchange in my area, so i get faster net then others in my town RE: broadband upgrade by saralk on 03-12-2005 at 05:56 PM

quote:lol @ limited connections... so that limits you to about 16 hours of downloading at max speed for a whole month?! My mothly downloaded/uploaded data usually approaches 30-40 GB even though I'm on a 512 connection... RE: broadband upgrade by Millenium_edition on 03-12-2005 at 06:52 PM

Rogers Cable is teh shiznit RE: broadband upgrade by haydos on 03-12-2005 at 07:05 PM Our speed stayed the same but our bandwisth cap had been increased from 1gb to 5gb upstream/downstream.... im still struggling not to use it all though RE: broadband upgrade by spokes on 03-12-2005 at 07:13 PM

RE: broadband upgrade by mad_onion on 03-12-2005 at 08:29 PM yeah im waiting for my letter but i dont know if i will use 15Gb a month guess i will have to wait and see. RE: broadband upgrade by Anubis on 03-12-2005 at 08:31 PM I'm getting a free upgrade off BT to 1mbps from 576kbps in the next week or so RE: broadband upgrade by Duanezee on 03-12-2005 at 08:40 PM NTL is upgrading from 300k to 1megabite. Sounds great you ask but it sucks, because there is a 3gigabyte limit per month whereas the other was unlimited. 3gigabyte a month is only 12hours a day and my computer with my family using it went to about 18hours and I will only be able to play half an hour of gaming a week, that sux. NTL SUX RE: broadband upgrade by spokes on 03-12-2005 at 09:10 PM
quote: £25 upgrade fee isnt it? Australia are in the middle od or rollin g out ADSL2 an ADSL2+ ..ADSL2 is just basically the internet speed is a lot faster, ADSL2+ you can use VOIP, Telephony on the Analogue/digital Phoneline, an get Paytv on the same phoneline but isnt secure at the moment, to get ADSL2+ you must be living within 1.5Km of the Telephone exchange , to get ADSL2, its jsut Normal, just that everyone that has ADSL1 will need an updated ADSL Modem to use ADSL2 RE: broadband upgrade by The_Thief on 03-14-2005 at 03:08 AM Mine is a canadian compay 5 mbps download and capped at 60 gigs |
